For one of my classes, we were asked to design an infographic and then measure its reach. What do you think is the best way to evaluate the effectiveness of an infographic? Do you have a favorite tool?

Thank you for your comment, Olivia! No, I don’t have a favorite tool to measure effectiveness of infographics. My opinion is that it is difficult to measure how effective a single infographic is. For me it is good enough to measure social shares and once in a while follow through on those that receive a lot of traffic. However, to determine that infographics are popular is not very difficult. They clearly receive more attention than regular posts.

Thank you for posting this! I am a college student at the University of Oregon and I found this article very relevant to my studies. My PR class just finished up creating our own infographics. The biggest obstacle I had to overcome was what to actually put on my infographic. I had so much information, but didn’t want to overwhelm readers with unnecessary content. This infographic about what constitutes good content is extremely helpful. I will also apply the tips and insights from this post to the content I generate for my personal social media use. Thank you again for the post!
