SEO vs. SEM | The Difference | Infographic

The difference between SEO and SEM can make a major difference in your marketing efforts. Just putting a website up and expecting the sales rolling in doesn’t cut it in the world of online marketing. Just like with most things there are two options, work hard for your success or pay for it.

The working option of the two means you put your thought through website up and create a good SEO strategy combined with a good content marketing strategy. If you do it right and you work both on a daily basis you will create organic traffic that will last for a long time. Of course this is an ongoing effort and doesn’t allow a lot of breaks. Learn more about content marketing here.

The other way, faster, but only lasting for a short time, is the way to engage in search engine marketing (SEM) and pay the search engine to display your results on top of the search results. Google, Bing, Yahoo and others will be very happy to assist you with your needs in that department.

Have a look at the infographic below from Apollo Creative Solutions and see the differences between the two options.
