Top 10 Failed Social Media Sites? – Infographic

MyLife.com created this Infographic, showing 10 social media sites that, in their opinion, miserably failed. What do you think?

Almost everyone dreams of creating the next big thing when it comes to social media, but the truth is, starting a site that is valued in the millions and used by people worldwide such as Facebook, doesn’t happen every day, or even every year. Just because you and your friends think you have a great idea, it doesn’t necessarily mean everyone or anyone else will. Even if you’re on par with the genius of someone like Steve Jobs, there is no guarantee of success—the man himself failed big time with his doomed music social network, iTunes Ping.Still convinced that you have the idea of the decade that will finally dethrone Facebook—or at least make a fairly decent-sized dent in its user base? Let’s take a stroll down memory lane and visit those social networks that believed they were truly invincible but ultimately failed.

Thank you for your comment, Dave. I was hoping more people would protest. I was just as surprised to see Google+ on this list as you are, Dave. I don’t buy that Google+ is a failure. Thank you for your contribution.
